All of us know family members or friends who, at some point in their lives, have been challenged with issues of mental health. Do we know how best to respond? Join us for an informative program entitled “Good Mental Health: It Starts with a Conversation” Wednesday, March 11 in the Social Hall of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst from 7:00 – 9:00pm. This program is jointly sponsored by the western Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the LWVA.

The focus of the evening will be on dispelling myths, gaining better understanding and increasing acceptance of mental health issues. The evening will begin with remarks by a presenter selected by DMH. There will be dialogues about recovery and resiliency and there will be plenty of time for conversation. Light refreshments will also be served. Please join us for what promises to be a stimulating evening.
