LWVA Sponsors Panel on Issues with Private Health Insurance

On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, a panel heard personal stories about issues dealing with private health insurance companies. Comments came from both patients and providers. All of the stories from the Speak Out will be collected and given to the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing at a hearing in Boston for single payer bills.

DA David Sullivan Speaks at LWVA Opening Meeting

Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan addressed the League of Women Voters Opening Meeting on September 30 at the Amherst Woman’s Club. He reviewed the many initiatives of his office since he assumed his elected position in January 2011.

LWVUS Study on Amending the U.S. Constitution
