This year's topic was “Making Democracy Work in My Community”. The League invited Massachusetts high school students to create a two-minute video showing how someone is making democracy work where they live.
Many students participated in the contest, and the winning videos were selected from entries submitted from across the state. The contest winners will receive awards of $500 (first place); $250 (second place); $100 (third place); and $50 (two honorable mentions). An award ceremony will be take place in June.
