During Women's History Month, the Amherst League of Women Voters and the Jones Library invite you to join us for a screening of this documentary, which examines a missing chapter in our nation’s record of the Civil Rights movement by taking us to Mississippi in the 1950’s and 60’s to discover the point of view of the courageous women who lived it and emerged as its grassroots leaders.

A discussion follows, led by Traci Parker, Assistant Professor of Afro-American Studies at UMass-Amherst.
