Birthday Lunch: 99th Aniversary of the League

The League of Women Voters of Amherst celebrated the national organization's 99th birthday with a luncheon on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Ginger Garden Restaurant. The luncheon was attended by 60 people, and State Rep. Mindy Domb, D-Amherst, was the keynote speaker.

Board Restructuring Moving Forward

A new board-and-committee structure will be tried out in 2015-2016, consisting of a three-person leadership team, one representative from each of five teams or committees (membership, communications, finance, records and voter service), and one to three additional directors who will represent other current needs and interests of the League.
