Notes from LWVMA Convention 2021

The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts held its state convention on Saturday, June 26, 2021. It featured a keynote speech by Representative Liz Miranda of the 5th Suffolk District.

At its biennial conventions, delegates from local League in Massachusetts gather to hear distinguished speakers, approve program for the next biennium, elect a new board of directors, approve the budget, and network with leaders from across the state. The 2021 convention was held on Zoom, so both delegates and non-voting observers were able to join for free.

Other parts of the convention are posted at the LWVMA YouTube channel, including the Local League Showcase that includes a contribution from the Amherst League. Convention materials will remain on line for a few months.
